Displacement type luxury cruiser with long range capability. KSS build of power catamarans is just as simple as for sailing catamarans.

The basic style can also function commercially as fishing, dive, tourism boats. There are several models available KSS P46 (classic and an open BDeck version), KSS P46JP, KSS P46ma, KSS P46.1 (a version of P46 without flybridge).

Design Description
This design is planned on the basis that it will be an owner operated craft, with plenty of space and comforts for a couple and their occasional guests. No attempt has been made to fit in the maximum accommodation for the length of boat. Obviously, with the large deck and saloon area and very large fly bridge, a lot more people can be carried on day sailing trips. Ease of movement around the boat has been an important factor in the design process.
Engine options allow for cruising speeds into the mid twenties. The hull design is on slim displacement hulls with water drawn to the propellers from the sides. The displacement hulls give good control at all speeds and excellent seakeeping.
The main saloon also houses a seating and dining area and the main inside steering position against the forward bulkhead. This provides excellent all round visibility and is accompanied by an extensive area for navigation and monitoring systems.
The general layout has been chosen for simplicity and ease of fit out. The internal spaces can equally be luxuriously appointed. The aft cockpit is full width with direct access from the transom steps. The main berths are in the twin aft cabins. Large capacity fuel tanks are arranged under the berths. This both helps to insulate the engines from the accommodation but also puts the weight where it is most appropriate. The forward cabins are within the hulls. Saloon with galley and inside steering are on the bridge-deck. The large flybridge is designed to be made as a separate unit and fitted into place at a late stage of fit out.
